Sandra Winter wrote her name in the record books when she achieved the first three-peat in the prestigious SA Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship at George Golf Club on Wednesday. The Kingswood golfer finished eight strokes clear of fellow Southern Cape golfer Sonja Bland on eight-over-par 224 thanks to a closing three over 75.
