SA Junior Connie Chen won the Mpumalanga Open Championship on a one over par 143 (70, 73) followed by Nicole Becker three strokes back on 146 (73, 73) when this event was played at Witbank Golf Club on 14 and 15 November.
Alana van Greuning won the Closed Championship with a 78 and 75 and Izel Pieters won the best nett with an overall 142 nett. Connie Chen also won the Best Junior trophy and Elsa Loubser won the best Senior trophy.

Ryan Dreyer and JG Claassen teamed up to win the International Team Competition, a 72 hole stroke play tournament, by three shots from hosts Argentina yesterday. Playing in ideal weather conditions at the Los Lagartos Country Club, just outside Buenos Aires, the South Africans recorded a total score of 567, one under par.
South African team, comprising Ryan Dreyer and JG Claassen, share the 54 hole lead, with hosts Argentina, after the third and penultimate round, in the international team competition being played concurrently with the Juan Carlos Tailhade Cup at the Los Lagartos Country Club, outside Buenos Aires.
The second round of the Juan Carlos Tailhade Cup, an international amateur golf tournament being played at Los Largotos Country Club outside Buenos Aires, Argentina, was suspended due to heavy rain. The round will be completed today (Saturday)
The South African Golf Association (SAGA) and National Golf Network (Pty) Ltd (NGN) have reached agreement in which the two parties will work together in the successful implementation of the new SAGA Handicap Central File Server (SAGA Handicap Server), it was announced today.
The South African Team finished tied in 12th place after Saturday’s final round in the 72 hole Spirit International Amateur, played at Whispering Pines Golf Club, located in the town of Trinity, Texas in the United States.
