Connie wins final Provincial event at Witbank

SA Junior Connie Chen won the Mpumalanga Open Championship on a one over par 143 (70, 73) followed by Nicole Becker three strokes back on 146 (73, 73) when this event was played at Witbank Golf Club on 14 and 15 November.

Alana van Greuning won the Closed Championship with a 78 and 75 and Izel Pieters won the best nett with an overall 142 nett. Connie Chen also won the Best Junior trophy and Elsa Loubser won the best Senior trophy.

Playing in ideal weather conditions at the Los Lagartos Country Club, just outside Buenos Aires, the South Africans recorded a total score of 567, one under par.
