British golfer Herman Loubser took advantage of the sunny conditions at the Fish River Sun Country Club to keep ahead of the chasing pack at the Nomads SA Boys U-15 Championship on Monday.

Herman Loubser from the United Kingdom was the surprise leader after Sunday’s first round of the Nomads SA Boys U-15 Championship at the Fish River Sun Country Club.

After three rounds at this year’s South African Junior Inter-Provincial, the A-Division could go down to the wire in a three-way battle between defending champions Gauteng, hosts Western Province and dark horse Central Gauteng, while KwaZulu-Natal took yet another step towards promotion by defeating Southern Cape in the B-Division on Wednesday.

Indwe Risk Services have signed a three-year extension to their sponsorship agreement of the SA Golf Association’s senior amateur golf. The short term insurance broker have been a partner to the senior amateur golf circuit for nearly a decade as the title sponsor of their two flagship events, the Indwe Risk Services South African Senior Inter-Provincial and Indwe Risk Services Senior Amateur Open Championship.

The Western Province gave Gauteng North licking to signal their intention at this year’s South African Junior Interprovincial this year, while neighbours Boland bounced back from mixed first round results to defeat Mpumalanga that put the side firmly back in the battle for promotion at Bellville Golf Club on Tuesday.
