Frittelli steady as he eyes the Freddie Tait Cup
Nineteen year old amateur Dylan Frittelli played steadily for his 72 today, to finish with a 54 hole total of 215, one under par, after the third round of the South African Open Championship. He is three shots clear of the next best amateur.
Three of the five amateurs playing in the South African Open Championship managed to survive the cut at the end of the second round which concluded today. They are Dylan Frittelli, JG Claassen and Ryan Dreyer.
Dylan Frittelli fired a first round score of 69, three under par, to finish tied in eleventh place in the South African Amateur Open Championship, being played over 72 holes stroke play.

G Claassen progress through to the final of the 114th Argentina Amateur Championship was short lived. He came up against a determined Ignacio Elvira, of Spain, in the second round who ended up beating the current South African and Zimbabwe Stroke Play Champion three and two.
JG Claassen moved into the second round of the 114th Argentina Amateur Championship match play yesterday with a 4 and 2 victory over local player Santiago Buani, taking place at the Buenos Aires Golf Club in the capital city.
