SAGA and NGN to formalise contract buy out

At a meeting of the SAGA National Executive Committee, held in Benoni on the weekend, it was agreed to conclude a contract with National Golf Network (Pty) Ltd (NGN), in terms of which the SAGA would buy out the agreements NGN has with individual golf clubs for the provision of handicapping services and systems.

JG Claassen loses in second round

However their progress through the Match Play was not as successful.G Claassen progress through to the final of the 114th Argentina Amateur Championship was short lived. He came up against a determined Ignacio Elvira, of Spain, in the second round who ended up beating the current South African and Zimbabwe Stroke Play Champion three and two.
