Ekurhuleni seals SA U-13 Champs hat-trick

Ekurhuleni clinched their third successive Nomads SA Under-13 Championship title in formidable fashion at Killarney Country Club on Thursday. The six-strong side claimed a roaring 53 stroke victory on 1161, while North West edged out Gauteng North by two strokes to finish in second on 1214.

Ekurhuleni hunt Nomads SA Boys U-13 hat-trick

Ekurhuleni’s finest young prospects lined up a hat-trick of wins in the Nomads South African U-13 Championship after they marched to an overwhelming first round lead at Killarney Country Club on Tuesday.
Twelve months after the side powered their way to a successful title defence at Royal Durban Golf Club, the two-time champions picked up where they left off to open up a yawning gap on the field with a first round total of 389.

SA IPT 2016 – A-SECTION Final Round Foursomes Update

Southern Cape made a solid start in the fight for glory against Gauteng North to lead the final round foursomes 2.5 – 1.5 at the 56th South African Inter-Provincial Championship, but the Garden Route side had to dig deep after Gauteng North fought back hard on the back nine at the Fish River Sun Country Club. Ekurhuleni and Central Gauteng drew 2-all and Western Province set up a second successive victory with a 3 – 1 lead over Boland.

SA IPT 2016 – B-SECTION Final Round oursomes Update

Log leaders KwaZulu-Natal edged out Eastern Province in the final round foursomes to take a one point lead into the last eight singles at the 56th South African Inter-Provincial, while North West will need to dig deep if they want to stay alive in the promotion battle after drawing with Free State. Mpumalanga made the most of the calm start to the final day to claim 3.5 points against Limpopo.
