Strydom vaults into top 16 in USA

South Africa’s Tristen Strydom broke into the top 20 with a solid performance in the 51st Junior Orange Bowl International Golf on Monday, while fellow Ekurhuleni junior Paul Boshoff hung on to a top 30 placing in the third round at the Biltmore Golf Club in Coral Gables, Florida.

SA duo break into top 25 at Orange Bowl

South Africa’s Tristen Strydom and Paul Boshoff both inched closer to the leaders in the second round of the 51st Junior Orange Bowl International Golf in Coral Gables, Florida on Sunday.
The pair are tied for 24th at the 36-hole mark at the Biltmore Golf Club and lag just six shots off the pace from joint overnight leader Giovanni Tadiotto from Belgium, who overcame a rocky start to card a 69 for a two shot lead.

Ekurhuleni pair primed for Junior Orange Bowl

Top ranked juniors Tristen Strydom and Paul Boshoff will both chase down glory in the Orange Bowl Junior Invitational in the United States from 27-30 December.
Strydom ranks second in the South African Golf Association’s Open Amateur standins and earned his berth in the line-up of the highly exclusive 72-hole stroke play championship by way of winning the Glacier Junior Series National Final.
Boshoff was invited to compete in the in the 51st edition of the prestigious international event at the Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables, Florida, as the country’s number one ranked junior.
