Gauteng North’s Jason Smith and NJ Arnoldi from Ekurhuleni were both eliminated in the second of the 119th Argentine Amateur this weekend.

A record total of 18 ladies successfully completed the seventh R&A Level One Rules Course at Royal Durban Golf Club on Friday. The one-day course was hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal Golf Union and presented by South African Golf Association Assistant Executive Director, Neil Homann.

On the day Jason Smith was named the Gauteng North Golf Union’s Player of the Year, the Pretoria amateur was halfway around the world, playing in the second round of the Stroke Play Qualifier in the 119^th Argentine Amateur Championship in Pilar alongside compatriot, NJ Arnoldi.
