Seven of South Africa’s top ranked juniors are set to kick off the 23^rd Toyota Junior Golf World Cup, supported by JAL, at Chukyo Golf Club in Aichi-Prefecture, Japan, on Tuesday.

The South African junior quartet battled to mixed results in the third round of the Enjoy Jakarta World Junior Golf Championship in Indonesia on another taxing day at Damai Inda Golf in North Jakarta.

Seven of South Africa’s most promising stars will line up against the world’s top ranked juniors in the prestigious Toyota Junior Golf World Cup in Aichi-Prefecture, Japan this June. The 23^rd edition of the world’s premier junior golf international team championship has drawn 84 entries from across six continents.

It was an up-and-down day for all four South African juniors competing in the Enjoy Jakarta World Junior Golf Championship in Indonesia, but the quartet did crack the top 10 in all their divisions at Damai Inda Golf in North Jakarta.

Bloemfontein junior Steven le Roux grabbed a share of the three-way lead in the Enjoy Jakarta World Junior Golf Championship in Indonesia, while compatriot Franklin Manchest claimed a top-10 finish at Damai Inda Golf in North Jakarta on Tuesday.

Four of country’s rising juniors will fly the flag for South Africa against a host of foreign nations in the Enjoy Jakarta World Junior Golf Championship in Indonesia this week.
