Two South African juniors settle for 2nd place in India
Four South African juniors were treated to traditional warm Indian hospitality at the opening ceremony of the 4th Albatross International Junior Championship being held at Jaypee Greens Golf Resort, Greater Noida, Delhi.
Monja Richards won both the Open and Closed Mpumalanga Championship with a total of 145, two shots ahead of Walker Park player, Alana van Greuning and this is the first time a player has won both the Open and Closed since 1974.
Nobuhle Dlamini takes top honours in 2012
Back in 2006 when Nobuhle was only 14, her parents made the difficult decision to send her to South Africa to further her education and improve her golf. Seven years later she now tops the WGSA Order of Merit after a formidable year playing in national and provincial tournaments.
