SA take the lead in the All African Challenge Trophy

South Africa took the lead after the first round of the All Africa Challenge Trophy being held at Phakalane Golf Estate in Botswana. With two scores to count, the senior players in the South African team, Kim Williams and Alana van Greuning both produced solid level par rounds and the team score of 146 is eight shots ahead of Tanzania, with Zambia in third position on 156.

Nobuhle wins inaugural Ekurhuleni Stroke Play Championship

SA Stroke Play Champion Nobuhle Dlamini added another title to her name when she won the inaugural 54 hole Ekurhulei Stroke Play Championships at State Mines Golf Club Country Club this week. South African juniors visit Jakarta

A South African junior team left yesterday to compete in the Jakarta World Junior Championships in Indonesia. The team, pictured, is Karebo Mokoena, David Meyers, Karen Olivant (Manager), Eleonora Galletti and Bianca Theron.

Gauteng North successful for the third consecutive year.

Predicably, the Gauteng North team of Magda Krüger, Kim Williams, and Nobuhle Dlamini (pictured) picked up the Swiss Team Trophy for the third consecutive year at the WGSA 72 Hole Teams Championship played at Polokwane Golf Club this week.

The team led from the first round and eventually finished 16 strokes ahead of the newly formed union, Ekurhuleni – Nicole Garcia, Bonita Bredenhann and Simoné Burger.

First Hole-in-One for Yushira

Yushira Budhram representing Gauteng A in the 72-Hole Team Championship, had her first Hole-in-One on the 150m Par 3 – 16th Hole at Polokwane Golf Club during the first round of this prestigious tournament.
