At the annual Golf Digest Awards, Gauteng North Women were awarded Team of the Year.
The last three winners of this award were:
2007: Boland men; 2006: SA’s WATC Women’s Team – winners of the Espirito Santo Trophy: 2005: Central Gauteng men

They made history in women’s golf when they won the A section of the Interprovincial in 2007. Last year they retained their title at Umhlali, and also won the 72-hole teams championship at Wingate Park.
