About GolfRSA

GolfRSA is the unified body of the South African Golf Association (SAGA) and Womens Golf South Africa (WGSA), administering, operating and providing service to amateur golf in South Africa.

GolfRSA’s role is to look after the interests of more than 460 golf clubs and 139 000 men, women, boy and girl club members, produce champion golfers and provide the opportunity for everyone in South Africa to experience the game of golf. Some of GolfRSA’s responsibilities are:

Working across the full spectrum of golf development in South Africa
Providing support services to member clubs and maintaining a uniform system of handicapping, administering and applying the rules
Providing championships and competitions for all ages and abilities at some of the most prestigious courses in the country
Identifying and developing the country’s most talented amateur golfers, with the very top players joining our elite National Squads for specialised training and playing opportunities
