Gauteng continued their relentless march in the 56th South African Women’s Inter-Provincial and Ekurhuleni crushed Gauteng North’s title hopes and Southern Cape strengthened their promotion bid at Umhlali Country Club on Thursday.
Ekurhuleni clinched their third successive Nomads SA Under-13 Championship title in formidable fashion at Killarney Country Club on Thursday. The six-strong side claimed a roaring 53 stroke victory on 1161, while North West edged out Gauteng North by two strokes to finish in second on 1214.

Thanks to the courageous efforts of Zamokuhle Nxasana, Christopher Bagnall, Nash de Klerk, Kiera Floyd and Hunter Walker, Ekurhuleni is in the driver’s seat and just 18 holes away from a hat-trick of wins in the Nomads SA Under-13 Championship.
Border and Ekurhuleni threw down the gauntlet and put defending champions Gauteng and Gauteng North on notice at the 56th South African Women’s Inter-Provincial at Umhlali Country Club on Tuesday.

Twelve months after the side powered their way to a successful title defence at Royal Durban Golf Club, the two-time champions picked up where they left off to open up a yawning gap on the field with a first round total of 389.
Gauteng is poised to launch their title defence in the 2016 SA Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship with a solid start in today’s qualifying round at Umhlali Country Club in KwaZulu-Natal.
