Schwartzel headlines for SA at 103rd SA Open

The South African Open Championship will celebrate its 103rd playing with 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel leading the South African challenge at Glendower Golf Club from 21-24 November 2013.
The former Freddie Tait Cup winner is the main draw card in the first counting event on The 2014 European Tour International Schedule 2014 alongside world number four and defending champion, Henrik Stenson, and Schwartzel hopes to start the season on a winning note.

SA Spirit team primed for US challenge

Kim Williams from Gauteng North, Christiaan Bezuidenhout from Ekurhuleni and Gauteng’s Lara Weinstein and Louis Taylor are primed for The Spirit International challenge in the United States next week. Having represented South Africa in 2007, 2009 and 2011, Williams will be honoured during the opening ceremony at the first Spirit International participant to play in four championships.
