Ruan de Smidt and Haydn Porteous collected three birdies a piece to finish with a second successive 68 and launch to a tie for second in the Mens Teams Competition at the 2011 Spirit International at Whispering Pines Golf Course in Houston, Texas on Friday.

The team is participating The Spirit – a biennial international tournament being played at Whispering Pines Golf Club.
