Buenos Aires, Argentina (23 October) – Korea broke the record for the lowest score and won the 2010 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship by 17 strokes over the USA to claim its second Espirito Santo Trophy at Olivos Golf Club.
The South African team of Connie Chen, Kelli Shean and Kim Williams finish tied third with Sweden and France.

Korea fired a record-setting 16-under-par 128 to surge into the lead by one stroke over first-round leader USA in the second round of the 2010 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship while South Africa is tied fifth at the half-way stage of the event.
News just in from Buenos Aires (5.30 pm South African time) is that Kelli Shean aced her tee-shot at the par 3 fifth hole during the second round of the World Amateur Teams Championship being played at the Buenos Aires Golf club.

Buenos Aires, Argentina (20 October) – The USA forged a four-stroke lead over Argentina and France with a record-setting 8-under-par 136 in the first round of the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship. The South African team are six strokes back on -2 and tied in fourth position – Kelli Shean carded 70 (-2) and Kim Williams finished on even par 72.
The SA Team of Sandra Winter (Captain), Connie Chen, Kim Williams and Kelli Shean enjoy the opening ceremony which took place yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 19 October). The SA Girls tee off today at 10h40 at the Olivos Golf Club.
