Reigning SA Amateur Stroke Play champion Jared Harvey led the way for South Africa in the opening round of the United Fisheries Shirley OPen in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Australia continued to dominate the inaugural Four Nations Cup in New Zealand while the South African team battled balky putters for a second successive day at The Hills near Queenstown.

South Africa launched to within six shots of Australia after a great fight back in round two of the inaugural Four Nations Cup at The Hills Golf Club near Queenstown.

Although the South Africa team were slow of the blocks in the overall competition at the inaugural Four Nations Cup in New Zealand, Haydn Porteous put in a solid performance for a share of the individual lead at The Hills in Arrowhead.
