Versfeld leads going into final round

Five of the SA's Zone VI team watch players coming down the 18th hole at Gaborone Golf Club. From the left Allan Versfeld, Riekus Nortje, Steven van Heerden, CJ du Plessis and Danie van Tonder Allan Versfeld took a two shot lead, going into tomorrow’s final round of the 54 hole Botswana Open. The Central Gauteng golfer played 36 holes of the Gaborone Golf Club layout today finishing on a total of 138, four under par, with rounds of 67 and 71.

SA lead in rain interrupted first round

Brandon Stone, the best performing player in the South African team when rain stopped play. He was three under par for his round with one hole to play.On level par and with a couple of holes to play, hosts South Africa lead in the first round of the Africa Junior Teams Challenge played at Glendower Golf Club, Johannesburg. The first round is to be concluded tomorrow morning.
