Good technique, hard work and big hearts are what make Nobuhle Dlamini and Alana van Greuning such formidable opponents. And a wise head on mature shoulders and a prodigious talent yet to be fully polished, is what gives 17-year-old Lara Weinstein her incredible edge.
Kim Williams will defend her Sanlam SA Stroke Play title for the second time when the SA Amateur is played at Umhlali Country Club from 15 to 17 April.

Even though drenching rain tested the ability of the players as they battled to complete the first round the scoring at the Sanlam Cape Province Open was still good due to the good weather for the remainder of the Tournament.

Western Province’s Kelly Erasmus won the Nomads SA Girls Rose Bowl today, finishing two strokes ahead of fellow EE & FF member Izel Pieters. In third place was Korean Ji Sun Kang. The event was played at Pearl Valley Golf Estates.
After her nine stroke landslide victory at the KwaZulu Natal Stroke Play Championships played last weekend, 17-year old Lara Weinstein must be a firm favourite to pick up the coveted Nomads SA Girls’ Rose Bowl at Pearl Valley Golf Estate next week.
