Gauteng takes early command in Middelburg

Gauteng made a fast start to their title defence in the 72-Hole Teams Championship, but surprisingly it was the B-team who pushed the 2015 champions in early pole position in the Swiss Team Trophy division at Middelburg Country Club on Monday.

Telfer wins Sanlam SA Women’s Amateur Stroke Play

Johannesburg’s Kaleigh Telfer claimed her maiden Sanlam SA Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship title when she won by six strokes at Westlake Golf Club on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old Telfer closed with a tournament low of three-under-par 69 to win on one over par. Eleonora Galletti and Switzerland’s Azelia Meichtry shared second place on seven over par.

Telfer two clear in Sanlam SA Women’s Amateur

It’s not yet on the level of her love for Deep House music, but 17-year-old Kaleigh Telfer is slowly starting to understand Westlake Golf Club’s course. And if she can hold onto her two-stroke lead in Tuesday’s final round of the Sanlam SA Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship, she may well leave here loving it.

Humble Van Zyl shares Sanlam SA Women’s Amateur lead

Free Stater Chante van Zyl has had to make do with the forced closure of nine of the 18 holes at her home course and very little in the way of quality greens or even a practice bunker to prepare for this week’s Sanlam SA Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship. SA sweeps to 12th AACT victory

South Africa’s top trio Ivanna Samu, Kaleigh Telfer and Zethu Myeki collected an unprecedented 12th victory for the country in the 13th edition of the All-Africa Challenge Trophy (AACT) in Hammemet, Tunisia on Friday.
