Ivanna Samu and Kaleigh Telfer got South Africa’s title defence in the 13th All-Africa Challenge Trophy underway with a solid opening round , while Zethu Myeki overcame a nervy start in her first international appearance to grab a share of seventh in the individual standings at Golf Citrus in Hammemet, Tunisia on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old Woodhill golfer shot a final round 69 to triumph by three strokes on three under 213.
Kaleigh Telfer kicked her preparation for the All-Africa Challenge Trophy in Tunisia into high gear when she followed team-mates Ivanna Samu and Zethu Myeki into the winner’s circle on the Womens Golf South Africa (WGSA) circuit on Sunday. She fired a course record 66 in the final round at Victoria Country Club to claim a runaway victory on in the KZN Ladies Golf Stroke Play Championship.
