Overnight leader Woo-Ju Son protected her overnight lead in the Girls Division of the Curro South African Junior International against a 43-strong line-up at Durbanville Golf Club, while De Zalze golfer Garrick Higgo has been in a league of his own in the 97-strong Boys Division through two rounds of the 56-hole Global Junior Golf Tour event.

Samu set for Curro SA Junior Internationals

Top ranked junior Ivanna Samu is riding a wave of confidence ahead of the prestigious Curro SA Junior Internationals this week after she lifted the Edith Bowie Trophy for a second time in three years on Sunday. Samu overcame a seven shot deficit in the final round to claim a two shot victory on one-under-par 143 in the Pam Golding Properties Western Province Championship on Sunday.

Triple delight at Border Championship

The recent Border Championship at East London Golf Club served up a feast of celebrations for Azelia Meichtry from Switzerland, local favourite Demi Flanagan and Gauteng junior Ivanna Samu.
Meichtry claimed her third title this season in the Stroke Play Championship and Samu regained the number one spot in the Womens Golf South Africa Senior Rankings on Sunday, while Flanagan recorded an unprecedented fourth Match Play victory on Tuesday.
